I have been super busy lately with wedding planning and school! This past weekend I was able to go to Orange Beach for Kristen's bachelorette weekend! Here is a little collage with a few pictures from our trip. We had so much fun and it was good to get away and relax for a few days.
Last night, me and momma got back to wedding planning! I talked to the cake decorator and booked her to make our cakes! To say I am pumped would be an understatement!! This is the last HUGE item on the to-do list and I'm relieved to have it checked off!
I always thought that when I got married I would consider having my momma's wedding dress altered and wear it on my wedding day. Well, this was just not going to be possible since I only have 4 months to plan our big day. Thanks to Pinterest (and maybe a little of my imagination), I have come up with a way to incorporate my mother's gown/veil into my special day. So last night we dug her gown out of the closet. This was the first time I had ever seen it in person....and it is beautiful. I have no idea how she wore the long sleeves and turtleneck in a June wedding, but she did. The details are amazing and I loved getting to hold her dress and try on her veil.

| She had it preserved, and we opened the box and it looked SO pretty just laying there. |

| Pearls and lace. So traditional and gorgeous. LOVE the details! |
I am so excited to add another family heirloom to the wedding. I will post pictures of the creation sometime before the wedding, but I'm just gonna keep it a secret for now. ;)
Now I'm off to pick out music for the wedding and reception!
Happy Hump Day!
